Reuse or Refurbish your Excel Elise

Donating an Excel Elise to another family or a local charity is often what our customers do when they no longer need it. But that's when the pushchair is still useable, many pushchairs which are seen as too worn out or needing repair are simply scrapped and sent to landfill.

STOP

There's now an better alternative for many pushchairs. With the patience and time of skilled volunteers many of these Excel Elise can be Refurbished and shipped to developing countries where there are few mobility resources for disabled children, where only 1 in 10 people have access to anything. Parts can be salvaged from one pushchair to refurbish several others.

We now support the charity Wheels to Heal, an award winning environmental and humanitarian project dedicated to rebuilding lives by recycling mobility equipment (mainly wheelchairs).

DROP OFF

Wheels to Heal is a national charity with Drop Off places around the UK from where they collect batches. If there isn't a drop off place near you do you know someone or a group which has some storage space and would like to help ?

FREE UPLIFT

If you're not able to drop off then Wheels to Heal can collect from you on their 3 Monthly Routine Collection Service.

Or if life is too busy...as it often is, then you could simply send it to them. Sending by a slow service like Evri costs about £10, the Excel Elise is just smaller than their maximum parcel size. Remember to include the footplate and any parts so they can refurbish the pushchair.
